Corsage & Buttonhole Flower Workshop with High Tea

Learn to create your own corsage or buttonhole at our summer flower workshop with high tea...

Tuesday 3rd July 2018 | Noon til 4.30pm

Do you have a close friend or relative with a wedding in the pipeline or a son or daughter with a summer prom or ball coming up? If so, why not learn the art of the corsage or buttonhole at our next floral workshop. Our flower workshops are ideal for those who fancy a leisurely afternoon learning something new whilst taking a spot of high tea in the sunshine. Alternatively, now is your chance to brush up on your floristry skillset with our intimate floral corsage or buttonhole workshop with high tea at Langdon this July.

This will be our second summer workshop which is in collaboration with our exceptionally talented resident florist, Sally, from H Watts Floristry. The workshop will not only give you, friends and family the chance to explore our wild gardens with Graham Titchmarsh (Alan’s cousin) but the opportunity to learn how to create your own floral corsage or buttonhole which you will be able to take home with you to show your friends and family.

The event will start with a beverage before heading out into our summer gardens. While we’re exploring the garden, you will have the opportunity to take clippings of some greenery to include in your corsage or buttonhole. Sally will also provide seasonal flowers to add some colour to your creation. Upon arriving back in from a short tour of the grounds, our florist, Sally will do an intimate demonstration before you have a go at putting together your very own corsage or buttonhole.

And in case that wasn’t enough, to celebrate the successful creation of your arrangement, there will be an opportunity to enjoy our Traditional High Tea.
